For the backend of Bicamps, we utilized PHP Symfony, a powerful and flexible framework that allowed us to build robust and scalable solutions. With Symfony, we were able to implement complex business logic and design elegant and efficient APIs.On the frontend, we leveraged our expertise in native Kotlin and Java to create a user-friendly and visually appealing interface. As a result, I was able to contribute to various projects, improving my technical skills and expanding my knowledge in these areas. Here's a brief description of the tasks I accomplished during my internship:Developed user interfaces using Angular and Bootstrap: I was responsible for creating responsive and visually appealing web pages, while ensuring seamless integration with back-end services. My work contributed to improving the overall user experience and usability of the platform.Collaborated with the development team: I actively participated in team meetings and collaborated with other developers to discuss ideas, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.Implemented automated testing using Selenium: In order to maintain the quality and stability of the platform, I learned how to create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium. This allowed me to identify and fix any bugs or performance issues before they affected the end user experience.Improved coding skills and best practices: Throughout the internship, I was able to refine my coding skills and learn best practices in web development, including version control, code reviews, and documentation.Additionally, outside of my internship, I took the initiative to expand my skillset by delving into Android app development. I dedicated my spare time to learning the ins and outs of Android Studio and Java/Kotlin programming languages, as well as becoming familiar with the Android lifecycle structure. This self-driven learning experience allowed me to understand the intricacies of Android app development, from designing user interfaces to managing application states and data persistence.
