The sessions are held at our counselling center/ at their homes. I also work with caregivers to assist them with building understanding towards improving the relationship and caregiving abilities for their loved ones, highlighting the systemic impact of the family dynamics.I also assist to link my client up with various community resources should they require financial, housing, vocational or social support.In our center, we have a day rehabilitation service where clients come for psychosocial programs. I do help out with some of these programs when I am available.I have also assisted in holding talks and workshops for the community via zoom, to eduated general public the importance of self care and stress management.Lastly, I do have experience with providing mental health assessment and offering possible options of interventions for undiagnosed clients who are displaying deterioration in functioning and mental health wellness. The interventions includes psyhoeducating family members on possible treatment plans (counselling, psychiatric interventions) and exploring communication patterns that can foster a safer environment at home.I really enjoy my work as it allows me to create a safe space for my client and provides an opportunity for recovery and most importantly, healing.
