As a senior HR Assistant I have gained comprehensive and thorough knowledge of laws, regulations, executive orders, court decisions, and issues related to the various Federal HR programs, including DEU rules, regulations, and procedures, assigned to the position and skill to apply this knowledge to a variety of difficult and complex work assignments. Additional duties include:  Maintenance of applicant and employee files in accordance with the HIPPA, Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and Department of Veteran Affairs Administration (Benefits) regulations. Data Entry and Data Collection Review position description (PD) for Fair Labor Standards Acts, Competitive Level, Occupational Series, pay plan, grades, position title, position duties, knowledge required and risk analysis for every position in accordance with VA Handbook 0710 Appendix A and OPM regulations. Inform the services if their request for a vacancy announcement doesn’t match the information included on the PD, which cannot be included on a Vacancy Announcement. Research, interpret, analyze and apply VA guidelines, policies, regulations, etc. as well as establish policies and procedures for accomplishment of administrative services.
