- Overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the finance department and maintaining integrity of the accounting system. Managing accounting personnel and delegating tasks as appropriate.- Managing all aspects of the finance function encompassing day today financial administration, financial and management reporting, tax compliance, fixed asset register and payroll.- Financial Reporting at Board level including the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end management accounts for seven companies including our international division.- Overseeing funds investment and managing associated risks. Supervising cash flow and working capital management. Executing capital-raising opportunities to deal with companies operating activities.- Co-ordinating and preparing annual budgets. Monitoring expenditure against strategic goals of the company and setting forecasts. Assessing risks/opportunities to forecast revenue costs and variances. - Managing the Annual Audit process including preparatory work, liaising with the Auditors and assisting with the timely delivery of Statutory Accounts to meet group deadlines.- Initiating SAP implementation and base system testing thus enhancing reporting efficiency and accuracy resulting in savings and costs.- Ensuring regulatory compliance and good corporate governance adherence including managing the payroll function, submission of all V.A.T. and PAYE/PRSI revenue returns within deadlines ,adhering stringently to tax compliance.
