I currently work as an Automation Engineer using Selenium and Katalon as a platform. I usually do scripting, create mapping, updating scripts, test cases, running the scripts and maintain the scripts created. We also maintain and update the servers to avoid having errors in it.As a QC Engineer I have to meet with the client, understand their business and their requirements and then present them with the appropriate functional/technical specifications. Also being responsible for analyzing the application and its functional/systems, performing the functional testing for that applications, preparing test reports and documenting the results of those test reports and giving recommendations for the quality assurance and system performance improvements. This requires strong knowledge of testing techniques like STLC and SDLC as well as testing methodologies such as Agile, Scrum etc
