Served as a mentor for the XR Mentorship Program - Africa Cohort 2, an 8-week initiative by XR Inclusion designed to support African XR creators and companies in developing inclusive, accessible virtual and augmented reality (XR) experiences. Provided guidance and expertise in XR best practices, accessibility, and project development through weekly mentoring sessions. Worked closely with mentees to refine their projects and prepare for the program’s Demo Day, where they showcased their progress and skills. This role involved fostering technical and creative growth, contributing to the advancement of XR accessibility, and supporting the African XR community's emerging talents.

This highly selective five months Professional Unity VR Development Bootcamp trains job-ready software engineers. Students who complete this program are qualified for junior-mid-level software engineering roles in the Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Industry.And this year, Cohort 7 students (including me) made more than 24 assignment submissions in the first 8 weeks, then created 3 weekly prototypes individually, and completed 2 MVPs every 2 weeks as a teamAfter completing the course, students can:• Develop and prototype VR, AR, MR, XR Games, and Applications• Work well in XR Development Teams • Use C# to program advanced functionality in Unity• Use Rendering Optimization tools to optimize VR applicationsTogether with industry partners, students develop advanced XR Prototypes alone and in teams. They learn to scope and pitch projects, report to clients, and manage their development times.
