Performing almost as long as I can remember, I grew up in northeast Ohio taking ballet lessons since I could walk and drawing since I could hold a stick in the sandbox. Ironically enough for the homebody who went to school 30 minutes away from home and never had any plans to move to NYC to pursue a career, after I earned my BFA I spent a summer dancing in Ohio before Carnival Cruise Line offered me a contract out of San Diego. I've never looked back! After spending over 10 years with Carnival in multiple performance roles, including one contract as dance captain, and then six months on Crystal Cruises as a dancer swing before COVID shut the world down, I rallied while back at home and developed new highly marketable skills. During my years in Ohio I worked as a paint associate, flooring specialist, dance teacher for multiple ages groups and disciplines, HR compliance and trucking recruiting. Reaffirming that life back in the Breadbasket wasn't for me, I landed myself a swing position in the '22-'23 national tour of Legally Blonde the Musical and am currently spending my summer as a vocalist at Point Sebago in Maine. Come 2024 I plan to finally bit the bullet and move to the Big Apple where I can ideally more easily access different opportunities in my industry. I am looking for an intermediate level starting office position where my administrative, leadership and communication skills can continue to grow, or a presenter role where I host and/or lead activities. My 20 years of combined education and experience will be an invaluable asset whichever direction I take.
