My primary expertise from 1980-2001 was as a supply system mainframe operator and analyst (supply X2 for those that understand) as a military person in the AF. After I retired I started working on Oracle databases. I became a certified DBA and held jobs as a DBA until 2004. I was hired by LMI in 2004 to help create a new stockage policy tool called Customer Oriented Leveling Technique (COLT). After building this system, launching it AF-wide, and refining it -- I moved over to the Supply Modernization office to work Enterprise Solution-Supply (ES-S) in 2007. I became proficient in the automated test tool Quick Test Pro and helped write over 5000 automated tests. I also helped build a new module of ES-S for the Mobility function. I actually became the Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) man for moving the data from an Army-built Microsoft SQL database to an AF-maintained Oracle database. During the process we corrected years of 'dirty data' problems and tightened constraints on the system to prevent those problems. Proficient in many computer languages and many types of databases.
