About Bert Bennett

After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting from The University of Georgia in 1993, Bert has spent the last twenty years with Draffin & Tucker focusing on the ever changing Health Care industry. Throughout this twenty year experience, Bert focused primarily on not-for-profit health care organizations and provided many types of audit, tax and reimbursement services. Although Draffin & Tucker provides services throughout the southeast, Bert spends the majority of his time on Georgia providers which allows a greater involvement with the Georgia Medicaid program. Most recently, as a result of the rapid pace of merger and acquisition transactions within the health care industry, Bert has helped many providers with the regulatory, compliance, accounting, and reimbursement challenges caused by purchasing or selling major health care service lines or entire entities.
