My duties included writing up Environment Health and Safety documentation for the laboratories, meeting all the criteria set out by my supervisor. I also was responsible for writing up all the procedures for the equipment in the chemical and physical labs. I also prepared a presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint and assisted the technician’s in carrying out their work. After some initial laboratory training, I was able to conduct chemical trials independently. I also used software programs for computer-aided experiments and used Microsoft Excel to input data collected form chemical trials.
