About Bert Kersten
My passion is to help organizations and people to advance. In this quest, I consider knowledge gaining and sharing as the key for sustainable growth both in economic terms as in community building. That is why I liked my job as professor in business processes and technology at Nyenrode Business University very much.I love lecturing at the Bahá'í Institute for Higher Education which aims to help educate bahá'í youth and adults in Iran who are persecuted and not allowed to attend high schools or universities. My domain there is applied research and the capstone projects to graduate for the MBA.I am not successful in retiring: there are soooo many opportunities in which I can help, serve and contribute! One of them is helping others to develop personal leadership and excellence by coaching, listening, guiding and accompanying. Contributing to society is one of the key-characteristics of the Bahá'í Faith. So I am a volunteer in many organizations trying to contribute to the betterment of the world. Change and changing are part of life. For our individual life and body and also for companies and society as a whole. The issue is: how can we be successful (say: survive) in an ever changing environment? Technology is one of the thrilling powers in human activities. It changes our way of working, our way of interacting, our way of production, our perspective of life. The impact of technology can hardly be overestimated, especially when taking into account the speed in which it advances.My domain is how companies and executives can be successful (survive) in this vortex of change and instability. And also how they can be transparent towards their stakeholders who definitely will raise questions about the IT-value, IT-costs, IT-performance, IT-projects, and so on. And …… how to do better!My inspiration, vision and drive originate from the Baha'i Faith which I can advise everyone to take a look at with an open view; the Baha'i Faith is focused on world unity and peace.

Last ten years we have seen enormous improvements! In this module the executives need to write a decision making document for their Board in which they ask for permission to implement and achieve these improvements. . This is an extremely successful way to learn and to grow. Het goede nieuws is dat er ziekenhuizen zijn die dat nu al kunnen! Waarom wachten als dat niet hoeft? Sneldiagnose is een succesvol programma dat gesteund wordt door KWF en Alpe dHuZes.
