Project Manager for SRA assisting the prime contractor in the development of the Integrated Pay and Personnel System - Army (IPPS-A) which is replacing the Army's current outdated personnel systems. Perform analysis of data from legacy systems to ensure accuracy and compatibility with PeopleSoft. Work as a member of the testing team performing functional and technical testing of the IPPS-A system. Also perform troubleshooting of errors discovered during the testing process and either fix the problem or coordinate with developers to have them correct the issues. Update design documents as needed to ensure that they contain current correct information for the IPPS-A system. Also serve as Tier II Help Desk Support which entails querying the IPPS-A database and legacy databases to research Soldier issues. Craft responses detailing problem resolution needed by either the IPPS-A application or correcting legacy data. Initial developer of 9 personnel reports for the IPPS-A system. This requires mapping desired data to the PeopleSoft database, documenting design steps, and testing the reports outputs. Work closely with the Government representatives for IPPS-A to make sure that these reports reflect the desired information and that they are user friendly and do not require an in depth knowledge of the data base or how to query it.

Review all daily SIDPERS transactions from 54 States/Territories to identify errors in data exchange to the Total Army Personnel Database-Guard (TAPDB-G). Transmit errors to the affected States/Territories with suggested corrections which have resulted in fixing over 100 strength errors.Lead SIDPERS developer for congressionally mandated Early Retirement Pay initiative as part of the Reserve Component Automation System (RCAS) and, in this role, identified those SIDPERS data elements which RCAS needs to calculate qualifying periods of service.Government lead for the data transition team from SIDPERS to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A) which has successfully mapped over 450 data elements from SIDPERS to IPPS-A.Reviewed over 200 proposed engineering changes for the SIDPERS to ensure that they meet all regulatory and policy guidance prior to sending requests to the systems engineers for implementation. Act as SIDPERS representative with systems programmers in developing enhancements to the SIDPERS and TAPDB-G systems.Act as liaison between National Guard Bureau and States/Territories to ensure their input concerning updates or enhancements to the SIDPERS system.
