Advise all branches in the personnel division in areas of personnel management, personnel accountability, benefits and data reporting.Senior leader of the Standard Installation/Division Personnel Reporting System (SIDPERS) team. Review all daily SIDPERS transactions from 54 States/Territories to identify errors in data exchange to the Total Army Personnel Database-Guard (TAPDB-G). Transmit errors to the affected States/Territories with suggested corrections which have resulted in fixing over 100 strength errors.Lead SIDPERS developer for congressionally mandated Early Retirement Pay initiative as part of the Reserve Component Automation System (RCAS) and, in this role, identified those SIDPERS data elements which RCAS needs to calculate qualifying periods of service.Government lead for the data transition team from SIDPERS to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A) which has successfully mapped over 450 data elements from SIDPERS to IPPS-A.Reviewed over 200 proposed engineering changes for the SIDPERS to ensure that they meet all regulatory and policy guidance prior to sending requests to the systems engineers for implementation. Act as SIDPERS representative with systems programmers in developing enhancements to the SIDPERS and TAPDB-G systems.Act as liaison between National Guard Bureau and States/Territories to ensure their input concerning updates or enhancements to the SIDPERS system. This has helped eliminate development errors and also helped gain state support of SIDPERS changes.As a member of the G-1 Data Governance Committee, advise members as to the validity of requested data reporting and ensure that there is no duplication of an existing function.Personnel Actions Branch Chief, Arkansas Army National Guard, Joint Forces Headquarters
