I worked for Alfa Laval AB 1974-1981. During that time I was initially Project Manager in complex customer orders, mainly in Europe, Site Manager in Iran and later Manager of all post-contract operations. At end of my time at Alfa Laval, I was manager of the Contracting Development Projects. I joined Institute for Management of Innovation and Technology in 1981, as Area Coordinator in southern Sweden. Simultaneously I participated in projects with focus on strategic and project management, in conjunction with a.o. Vattenfall and Cardo. In 1985 I was recruited to Felix AB, at the time a part of the Volvo AB, and with operations in Nordic countries as well as in Austria. As assistant to the Vice President, I was responsible for Operations Development, participated in acquisitions and sub-contractor negotiations. Later I was also Manager for Operations and Logistics.I became Senior Consultant 1990 in VBB and involved in the Department for Industrial Development, for which I was later appointed as manager. In this position I was in charge of international projects through the subsidiary AgriConsult AB.In 1995 I established ResursBruket AB, a consulting firm with focus on development of operations and competence, together with quality auditing and quality surveillance. In the business mission is also included asset development. Major clients have been Höganäs AB, Sydkraft AB, Hoya AB, Moody AS and Intertek AS.From 1981 I have act as a lecturer/senior lecturer on part time and have since then been teaching in the areas of Strategic Management, Project and Quality Management. Lecturing has been at a.o. Lund University (different faculties), Chalmers University of Technology, IFL Executive Education and Lisbon University. In more than 140 Master Thesis projects I have act as tutor to the students.I am also acting as a senior advisor in some companies and member of company boards as well as chairman.
