Bertine Kabellis is the Director of Engagement at Dr. Bronner’s, the top-selling brand of natural soaps in North America, and producer of other organic body care and food products. Since joining Dr. Bronner’s in 2011, her passion and dedication exemplifies the company’s heritage mission and mantra of All-One!With a background that includes leadership roles in industries as diverse as entertainment, finance, education, and retail. Bertine began her career at Dr. Bronner’s as part of the company’s inside sales team. She subsequently transitioned and assumed leadership responsibilities as warehouse general manager overseeing production for the company’s industry-leading bar soap and balm product lines, as well as the brand’s proprietary Magic Foam Experience (MFE). Recognizing both her contributions and talent, it was not long after she moved into her current role directing internal and external engagement initiatives throughout Dr. Bronner’s U.S. footprint. Among her duties, Bertine and her team are responsible for the company’s experiential marketing events, special projects, donation warehouse, All-One! Café, employee onboarding, employee engagement, and market-driven community outreach events.Engaging, proactive and a true team player, Bertine continues to excel as an impact leader coordinating cross-functionally across departments and as a member of the company’s senior leadership team. More recently, her duties have expanded further to lead the company’s priority initiative to develop and implement a comprehensive engagement strategy to both expand and grow an organization-wide culture of inclusion. As an advisor to the company’s executive council, under her leadership, Dr. Bronner’s has launched multiple engagement programs that promote and celebrate the organization’s vibrant culture, including its organic, plant-based, employee meal program and the company’s new diversity, equity and inclusion taskforce.In addition to certification in Fostering Inclusion and Diversity through Yale School of Management Executive Education, Bertine holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Azusa Pacific University and is currently pursuing her MBA. She studied classical dance and theatre at the South Florida Performing and Visual Arts Center, Oxford University and United States International University. She holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is a certified Zumba instructor. Bertine is a native of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.
