Decided to take some time off from professional career, to be the caregiver for parents, who needed assistance due to ill health. Also provided services as a volunteer at church, and conducted training sessions at local job networking group. Currently taking courses in battery engineering at San Jose State University.  Completed one year of technical courses in the 2 year program. Completed courses covered: lithium ion battery design and characteristics, UN38.3 Safety Testing, and battery management system (including protection circuit module (PCM) and gas gage). This work has resulted in the enhancement of my skills in the areas of: planning, organization, communication, working through challenges, and skills in battery development. Now looking forward to providing my services to a company to help accomplish the company’s objectives.

Developed the SW functional specification for automated station to flash the operating system ROM into WebOS Smart Phones and Tablet Computers. Prepared and tested factory ROM files and released ROM files to the factory. Co-developed a method for product SW version control in Agile. This resulted in major reduction in time to manage version control. Supported training of factory team for the ROM flashing station and supported the training of the interface of the Factory Shop Floor System.

Led a team of 7 engineers HW and SW to develop new low cost automated test equipment for Palm PDA. Led the team to work with the design group to develop a Design-For-Test DFT method which reduced functional test time from 120 sec. to 30 sec. Built the test equipment and validated test equipment. Transferred Palm test equipment and procedures to contract manufactures to produce Palm products. Test processes included board test, device functional tests and vision test.

Led a team of 8 engineers to develop test s/w and h/w for new products tested on a automated parametric test station. Led the team to design a new Low Cost tester for 10/100Mbit Ethernet adapter cards. The Low Cost tester resulted in lower false failure rate, and reduced maintenance cost. Led the team to develop zero-probe-pin test fixtures which resulted in major savings in test fixture cost. Transferred test equipment and procedures to the 3Com production test team.

Led the design of electrical control systems for military systems (missile air elevator, missile hoist, rail car leveling system)
