Théogène HABAKUBAHO, PhD, is a result-oriented Professional with extensive experience in Environmental and Social risk management, and Climate Change mitigation and adaptation. He has a PhD in Environmental studies, a Master of Climate Change and a Master Environmental Management. Actively engaged in investigating climate change risks He has been working with communities and governments in designing and implementing adaptation and mitigation projects including (i) Integration of Nationally Determined Contributions(NDCs) into the Upcoming District Development Strategy (2025-2030), (ii) Feasibility study for Building the Capacity of Rwanda’s Government to Advance the National Adaptation Planning Process, (iii)National Climate Change Mainstreaming Strategy for Rwanda, and (iv) Mapping of Environment, Natural resources, and climate change Interventions in Rwanda.
