Oversee all IS/IT functions for a Federally Qualified Health Center, serving 40,000 patients annually at 23 locations supporting 300 employees, and managing a team of (9) direct reports.Select Accomplishments:• Serve as Project Manager for a vendor/partner, OCHIN/Epic that went live, in June of 2022; implemented SaaS applications at health centers that included EPM, EHR, Dental, and Pharmacy modules• Defined the project strategy and timelines, leading departmental meetings with key stakeholders to identify issues, resolve technical concerns, and created follow-up action items• Provide oversight of the OCHIN/Epic project’s implementation of technical requirements, data conversions, and integrations with all third-party vendors, such as labs, PACs, clinical equipment, state immunization registry, and patient engagement solution that included coordinating all training and team meetings• Negotiated and executed the new systems contract valued at $2M, including EPM, EHR, EDR, Patient Engagement, interfaces, archiving, e-Fax solution, and hostingCreated and implemented a centralized call center to address customer service issues and staffed the center with (17) employees, including operators, clinical staff, and referral specialists• Reduced abandoned calls in the call center from 8.12% to 3% within a year and significantly improvedcustomer service across all 23 locations; implemented operating procedures to drive excellence for medical services and customer requests making transactions more efficient and cost-effective• Manage the company’s end-user and data center technology needs, including over 475 desktops, 10 servers, 700+ network nodes, and voice and data communications• Drafted, administered, and managed an FCC Grant, approved for almost $600K, that supported the Covid-19 Pandemic Telehealth Enhancement; procured equipment and additional network bandwidth to accommodate video in all 23 locations for safe provider doctor/patient encounters
