After a 20 year career in the City, initially as a fund manager (ran the European Equity funds for the NPI 1988-1993 - subsequently taken over by Henderson), then in European and Pan-European Equity sales (James Capel (1993-97), ABN Amro (1997-2001), Bank of America (2001-2003)), followed by a stint in Investor Relations Consultancy (Buchanan Communications), moved into the self-catering sector. From 1999 to 2022, owned and operated award-winning 5* Gold self catering business in South East Cornwall (Kernock Cottages). From 2010 Marketing Director at Premier Cottages - a marketing cooperative of the finest luxury 4* and 5* Self catering cottages in the UK, representing nearly 1000 cottages and 250 owners, and has also held the post of Chair of Premier Cottages since 2017.
