This role incorporates community and participatory outreach and gallery management across multiple departments at Harrow Arts Centre.- Implementing an annual multidisciplinary arts programme that supports Harrow Arts Centre and Harrow Council's Creative Cultural Strategy- Submitting and reporting on funding bids to enhance Harrow Arts Centre's Participation and Outreach programme- Recruiting and liaising with creative facilitators to organise, develop and deliver courses, workshops and performance based community events with particular emphasis on schools, families and those in underrepresented or deprived areas.- Supervising and safeguarding the work of facilitators, volunteers and tutors at events, ensuring they have valid training and DBS checks- Working to an agreed budget and monitoring targets, sales and expenditure on a seasonal basis - Managing Harrow Arts Centre's own Youth Theatre Groups and Young Creative Producers Programme to develop and encourage the skills of young people within the arts and theatre industries- Organising and Managing an annual mini-fringe theatre festival (‘The Boiler House Fest’)- Developing and distributing contract agreements- Expanding community outreach through targeted callouts and free creative opportunities- Support the Marketing, Operations, FOH and Box Office departments during the event planning and delivery process- Maintaining contact and partnerships with various charities, schools and organisations.- Manage and organise an annual Disability Arts Festival to celebrate talent from various inclusive charities and organisations within the borough- Managing the White Cube Gallery and Backstage Bar art display at Harrow Arts Centre, and the Greenhill Art Pod in Harrow Town Centre, ensuring regular exhibitions are displayed and local artists are showcased as much as possible- Curating exhibitions via own research to celebrate or commemorate certain events (e.g. ‘The Wealdstone Rail Crash: 70 Years on’ in 2022)

Harrow Arts Centre

This role supports the Front of House Duty Manager as and when required for Harrow Arts Centre performance events. The role includes:- Greeting ticket holders for shows, concerts and other performative events (notably Harrow Arts Centre's annual pantomimes). - Monitoring communal areas to ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard. - Monitoring the auditorium during shows to ensure maximum safety and comfort of audience members. - Providing support to the Box Office, Bar and Operational teams to ensure events run smoothly. - Be on hand to assist with any emergency incidents such as first aid or fire drill evacuations.

This is an front facing administration role with the following responsibilities:- Implement a number of different systems including Spektrix ticketing, Microsoft Office, and the Room Booking System for classes, workshops, functions and appointments- Communicate effectively with hiring clients and ticket purchasers via email, phone and in person- Support the Box Office Supervisor with regards to auditorium private hire, consumer liaison, filing and additional administrative and research work- Responsible for data inputting and ensuring the appropriate data protection regulations are maintained.- Responsible for taking cash, card and cheque payments, answering queries and maintaining positive relationships with customers- Being the first point of call for the public, ensuring they are appropriately advised and informed about the venue, and any opportunities and events on offer- Arranging customer site viewings and creating daily schedules and catering reports for the Operations team so that rooms and events are set up in a timely manner for client use- Generating invoices and manually actioning any cancellations including calculating fees

Christmas Temporary role specialising in fragrance that served to support the company during the busy festive season. Roles and responsibilities include:- Organising stock to maintain the presentation of the shop floor. - Advising consumers on fragrance types, scents and styles. - Conducting sales, returns and exchanges via tills. - Supervising the department area, sometimes alone, and managing busy periods. - Working in a team environment. - Assisting last minute new starter training. - Offering friendly and helpful customer service.
