The Business Development Unit was established to access both national and European funding streams on behalf of London Probation Trust, the European Projects team sat within the BDU but was independent to the rest of the unit. The diversity of this role required excellent time management skills, the ability to work off of my own initiative and drive to achieve positive results. My commitment to this role was supported by excellent communication, analytical, numerical, planning and organising skills and a sound working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages.• Organised, attended and presented at international study visits and board meetings.• Regular contact with high profile individuals across the spectrum these included professionals from the Ministry of Justice across the EU, criminal justice practitioners, lawyers and policy professionals.• First point of contact for all partners, board members, internal and external queries.• Prepared agendas and papers for project meetings.• Arranged the organisation of role plays for the Video Conference Technology study, this enabled a major output of the project to be completed.
