Under a subcontract with the North Carolina Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, I assisted people who have disabilities and barriers to employment. Together we identified and/or developed a marketable skill set, conducted job seeking and, eventually, landed that job! Following placement, I remained onsite to assist individuals overcome job site barriers through coaching and, if necessary, working with the employer to secure accommodations.
