Projects: Geneva a 3G enabled wearable that utilizes Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth Low Energy and GPS technologies (commercially known as Timex Ironman One GPS+) Tagg a Pet Tracking Device that combines 3G, Short Range Radio and GPS technologies QChat a Push To Talk Solution over enhanced 3GResponsibilities:• Excelled in various roles within Systems Engineering including: Team Lead, Lead Architect, Product Engineer, and Sales Engineer• Collaborated with Product Management to define customer feature requests, develop product requirements and generate concept definition documents. • Authored and co-Authored System Specifications for each of the products. The System Specification includes: system architecture diagrams, feature descriptions, end to end call flows, and system level requirements.• Presented the system architecture and feature behavior to external customers and internal engineering teams for each product.• Assisted Software Development by evaluating software design approaches to ensure system level requirements would be met.• Assisted System Test by reviewing Test Cases to ensure each system level requirements would be properly verified and on some products executed system tests and provided verification reports• Lead Technical Sales discussions during several customer engagements as a liason to Business Development and Product Management.• Provided detailed tutorials to new engineering personnel on system functionality, behavior and performance. • Generated high level impact assessments, complexity scopings and change orders in response to feature requests from internal and external customers. • Lead teams of engineers to respond to Request for Proposals for several potential customers which ultimately lead to a business partnership to develop and deploy the QChat product.
