I am Beth Brown of the Sea2Ski Real Estate Team. After many years as an elementary school teacher, I joined my sister Cindy Winthrop on the Sea2Ski Team. Cindy is a 20 year Realtor/Broker with rich experience in residential and commercial real estate. As sisters who love to work and play together, I spent years tagging along with Cindy learning all about the local real estate markets. As a result, I developed a passion for real estate. So in 2020, I decided to put my research, writing, and communication skills to work as the Creative Director and a Real Estate Salesperson for Sea2Ski. I am a realtor who falls in love with the charm and allure of each new home. My vision helps clients see all the potential and possibilities of a life in the homes I help buy and sell.We are determined to help our clients achieve their real estate goals, and as a couple of homegrown New England Realtors, we truly love where we work and live. We appreciate all that life in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and the Seacoast has to offer. Growing up on the Seacoast, we have lived and worked between Boston and Portland. Newington Public School is a small multi-grade school in the coastal town of Newington, NH. I was responsible for teaching all academic subjects to the grade 3 and 4 students for most of my career. On several occasions, I was asked to shift and teach 2nd and 3rd grade or 4th and 5th grade depending on the student population's needs. I spent time creating projects, developing curricula and teaching children who needed additional academic challenges. After school I volunteered to coach OM and DI problem-based challenge teams to regional and national competitions During my last few years, I worked as the kindergarten teacher, becoming certified in the Orton-Gillingham program in Reading Instruction. I presented workshops to other educators throughout my tenure in SAU 50 and additionally at the Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference. I enjoyed leadership roles on many district and SAU level committees to guide the direction of our school's mission.

I worked as a Grade 3 Classroom Teacher for the first two years of my time at Bakie School. My job required developing the academic lessons delivering instruction and assessment to a class of 28 students. After that, my principal recruited me to become the Enrichment Teacher for the remainder of my tenure at Bakie. I provided educational experiences to students grade one through grade five based on a model of Multiple Intelligence Theory. The foundation for my work was the belief that intelligence spans well beyond an individual's cognitive abilities. My mission was to recognize, nurture and help each student develop their gifts in this 500+ populated school community.
