Professional experience includes three decades of clinical work in ambulatory pharmacy practice and academia with a focus on communication skills, empathy, patient-centered diabetes care, and incorporation of mindfulness into the pharmacy school curriculum. Research experience includes site principal investigator for 4 multi-center trials in collaborative care for the underserved, current research in student well-being, and national well-being curricula, 20 peer-reviewed publications, and several presentations related. Co-developed a new American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Community for Well-being and Resiliency to connect others in group discussion, webinar development and delivery, scholarship opportunities, and the creation and implementation of a survey to define the landscape of well-being in curricula across the USA and Canada.
