Undergraduate Research Assistant
- My project was to examine the cellular mechanisms of MHC Class I-deficient tumor clearance in response to intratumoral injection of cyclic di-nucleotides
- Assessed Natural Killer (NK) cell activation in tumor-bearing mice by flow cytometry (IFNg, GzmB, Ki67, Sca1, and CD107)
- Performed chromium-51 killing assays with NK cells taken ex vivo on tumor targets
- Examined tumor-specific T cell function using peptide stimulation assays followed by intracellular cytokine staining and ELISAs of supernatants
- Experienced at handling mice – taking ear clippings and blood for genotyping and tumor measurements with calipers
- Supervised another undergraduate research assistant on experiments including flow cytometry, PCR, sequencing, and mouse tissue harvesting
