Why do I enjoy marketing? First, it's customer-centric. There's nothing like a successful marketing program or event that touches a customer/prospect and leaves them with a positive view of the company. Second, I love that I can create, plan, and execute a project that allows me to see and experience results first-hand. Third, the people! Instead of dealing within a certain internal team, my roles have allowed me to work with and meet people from across the organization. Externally, I've had the privilege to work with customers and vendors (creative and ad agencies, production companies, exhibit houses, etc.) and meet some of the most interesting keynote speakers.
