Current• Facilitate a collaborative procurement process that identifies the appropriate procurement method, whether a RFQ, RFP (both formal and informal), or ITB; preparation of the solicitation document; posting of the solicitation in accordance with Purchasing guidelines and federal guidelines (if applicable); proposal evaluations; conducting interviews; determining the appropriate contracting mechanism; negotiating the contract with the awarded vendor in partnership with the City Attorney’s office;… Show more • Facilitate a collaborative procurement process that identifies the appropriate procurement method, whether a RFQ, RFP (both formal and informal), or ITB; preparation of the solicitation document; posting of the solicitation in accordance with Purchasing guidelines and federal guidelines (if applicable); proposal evaluations; conducting interviews; determining the appropriate contracting mechanism; negotiating the contract with the awarded vendor in partnership with the City Attorney’s office; signing of the contract; and general contract management including, as applicable, annual renewals, insurance, progress payments, work orders, change orders, product end of life, and service issues.• Designed new and maintained existing reporting modules in Excel using pivot tables. These reports allow Purchasing to track “green” procurements, total spend by spending mechanism, department, buyer, etc. over short and long periods of time. The resulting metrics are used to identify areas of opportunity for future solicitations, fulfill Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) requests, measure workload and productivity, etc.• Revised existing checklists and templates utilized for compliance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) funded solicitations based on guidance from specialized courses or directly received from those governing bodies.
