Within my role at Sleaford Day Nursery, I am responsible for maintaining the social media pages as well as creating and implementing marketing campaigns in order to increase custom with prospective clients as well as maintaining a seamless communication outlet for current clients. Additionally, I am currently working on a project to build and maintain the company website, using WordPress and various Plug In's. Whilst in this role, I am also working towards enhancing and broadening my knowledge of Advanced MS Excel, Data Analysis, Digital Marketing and Google Analytics.

I worked within this setting full-time during my University break periods (e.g. Summer, Christmas, Easter). This role includes entering confidential information into computer systems, dealing with prospective parents, organising setting tours, dealing with financial queries and accounts, filing and organisation, updating displays, typing letters, proof reading and more. Within this role as an assistant I fulfilled whatever necessary to help with and assist the management teams work load as well as with other staff in the nursery in order to minimise their administrative duties so they could maximise their duty of care. My main responsibility being high function accounts receivable - invoicing weekly to around 100-200 clients, calculating fees, account reconciliation, dealing with queries and credit control. I spent a lot of time dealing with current and prospective parents, both in person and over the phone which I believe shows professionalism and ability to communicate effectively and politely with clientele. As a large number of staff needed my help in small tasks I ensured I organised my time effectively and prioritised jobs in regards to importance and deadlines. This not only shows I am fully capable of working as a part of a team but also my organisation and time management skills.

This role involves co-managing all social media profiles associated with a small business, creating visual adverts and proposing and implementing creative advertising ideas and events to the management team. I have been involved in the running of successful competitions that have enabled a boost in our social media following as well as producing social media content allowing for promotions and growth of clientele for the business. This role is a part-time role that I currently work in alongside completing my Degree. It has allowed me to build upon my organisational skills by prioritising work and meeting deadlines, as well as my confidence and creativity by giving me the opportunity to put forward new ideas to management and other members of the team.
