Working as a front end developer in the MyGov team, within the Digital Directorate, to create and improve digital public services for the citizens of Scotland. - Front end development of several websites including gov.scot and mygov.scot and their supporting publishing systems, using HTML/Handlebars/FreeMarker, CSS/Sass, JavaScript, JQuery and Angular, and some supporting back end development in Java, as part of a multidisciplinary Agile team.- Participating in user research observation and sensemaking sessions.- Liaising with stakeholders for various projects, including presenting show and tells of our work and demonstrating new features.- Creating clear documentation, both for developers’ technical needs and for our CMS end users.- Delivering direct customer support through our issue reporting system.
