I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. In addition to being a counselor, I have taught at a Community College, Performed Post Deployment Health Reassessments for the military, owned a contract printing business and co-owned an outpatient mental health clinic. It should be mentioned the Community College offered me a full-time position that I declined in favor of establishing a private practice, however, I loved teaching and am open to teaching again.Skills I have developed include the following:Team building/managementProblem identification and resolutionDeveloping employee performance guidelinesQuality documentationAssessment and diagnostic skillsSupervisory and training abilityIndividual and group therapyTherapeutic program managementI am open to opportunities outside of the mental health field that use the above skills, as well as, mental health opportunities. I have a particular interest in Human Resources. It should also be mentioned that most states have a reciprocal agreement with other states for licensure, meaning if an opportunity is available outside of TN it would be fairly easy to obtain another license.

Served on a quality assurance committee for monitoring of patient charts and proper documentation. Served as a Program Manager beginning with Alcohol and Drug Services, set up programming and transferred to Adolescent Services to serve as Program Manager, before being transferred to Continuing Care (a geriatric unit) to set up programming.
