Indie Beer Hub was a new online wholesale marketplace dedicated to Australian Independent Craft Beer.Being part of a small team, I ran most aspects of the day-to-day business and covered everything except writing code! On any given day I'd be switching roles between marketing, product, design, customer support, and sales.Unfortunately, our startup dreams for Indie Beer Hub didn't come true, but we learned so much along the way and I'm proud to have built such an amazing product over the 18 months.- Undertook customer discovery activities to define our MVP including customer interviews and market analysis.- Defined the requirements and designed the UX for all the platform's features.- Managed the backlog and sprint planning for our development team.- Launched the MVP with a small cohort of customers and grew the user base to 25 breweries and 20 wholesale buyers. - Undertook all sales and marketing activities, including visiting over 50 bars in Melbourne to sell them the product and learn about their problems.

The 10 selected teams take part in 3 months of intense business acceleration from expert mentors, are granted free office space, have access to exclusive partner deals, get $25,000 cash, and pitch to over 250 investors at a Demo Day. Startupbootcamp teams have a minimum viable product, often early traction, and in some cases seed funding.
