In conjunction with the Executive Staff and Development Team, the Communications Director manages the promotional activities of the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition’s programs and services, fundraising initiatives, volunteer recruitment and breast cancer advocacy. The Communications Director oversees the design and production of marketing materials including newsletters, press releases, brochures, audio-visual materials/presentations and media communications. The Communications Director also coordinates all social media activities and assists with special events, partnership events, and other duties as required.

Organized local, county, and statewide campaigns with the Delaware Democratic Party. Coordinated volunteers throughout New Castle County for Election Day get-out-the-vote.

Recruited volunteers to become active on the campaign. Mobilized supporters and elected officials for events, phone banks, and door to door canvasses. Organized get-out-the-vote effort for Primary Election.

Assisted the communications staff with research, drafting letters to the editor, and finding press clips.
