I have taught curriculum and instruction courses as an adjunct professor for Northern AZ University since 1984. Beginning in 2009, I have supervised student teachers as they are placed around the east and west valleys of Phoenix. I am endorsed to supervise preschool through 12th grade.

My business is designed to revolve around the client and his/her needs. My specialty is analyzing instruction for Human Resource purposes such as teachers or administrators who are on performance improvement plans. I mentor and certify student teachers for NAU as a field supervisor each semester in addition to my consultant projects. This keeps me current in the classroom, enables me to give back to the profession that gave so much to me over the past 38 years, and provides me with great satisfaction. My other specialty is in the area of planning or editing school-wide discipline programs. Explicit instruction with staff members, councils, or an entire campus is a passion of mine. I am typically hired by principals, superintendents, or board members.I have had great successes with diagnosing and prescribing campus-wide improvements with under-performing leaders or faculties. I have over ten years of staff and professional development (in two different districts), which assists me in working with adult learners, designing and delivering adult learner workshops.

Areas of development included instructional strategies, classroom and school-wide discipline, administrative coaching and supervision, mentoring, cooperative learning, effective meetings, substitute teaching, discipline for bus drivers, etc.

Beginning Educators need active support and mentoring. As a member of the college of education, I was given the challenge to design, implement and deliver mentoring modules that could be used in various local districts to support beginning teachers. The modules I designed were intended to train the trainers who worked in the various districts.
