Clinton, Iowa

Responsible for newly created Workforce Development Initiative of the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce. All area industries, and seven area school districts, one community college and one 4-year college participated in the Workforce One program. Through the initiative, the members coordinated curriculum development meetings between the education and business communities, established dialogue with area legislators on the importance of school-to-work funding, initiated development of a website to help area employers find qualified workers, and worked with area businesses to quantify needs by creating two employment needs surveys.

Ames, Iowa

Acted as a liaison between the Iowa State University Foundation and the College of Engineering, interacted with donors to the College of Engineering, researched and identified new prospects, hosted donors on campus visits, traveled to prospective donors, and was responsible for setting the Dean of the College of Engineering's development schedule.
