Supervised and managed reference activities for all collections held by the society including archival and manuscript holdings, serials, monographs, and museum collections; oversaw public service activities including the production of brochures, the newsletter, exhibits, and the website; assisted in the coordination of external workshops, staff training.

Managed all administrative activities of the University Archives and Special Collections Department for Thomas Jefferson University. Duties included acquiring and accessioning materials for the Department; providing reference service to University personnel and the general public; overseeing processing work; creating finding aids, inventories, and shelf.

Responsibilities included planning, developing, and maintaining automated access to holdings, providing access to electronic records containing constituent correspondence, and maintaining the department’s web page. Duties incorporated creating automated finding aids, providing access to holdings by creating collection, series, and item level MARC records..

The GAMMA Project, a two year grant funded collaborative cataloging effort, entered over 3,000 records for manuscript collections from numerous Georgia repositories a national bibliographic database. Main duties encompassed preparing, reviewing, and editing bibliographic records for archival collections using current standards of MARC-AMC, APPM, AACR2.
