Collaboration with the Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board, Society, and Publisher to maintain the integrity, timeliness, and efficiency of the publication processes.Evaluate and recruit candidates for inclusion to Editorial positions.Manage and supervise all aspects of the article submission, peer review, and publication processes (including ICMJE, COPE, IACUC, Declaration of Helsinki, and IRB compliance).Ensure author guidelines are updated to conform with a specific journal’s expectations.Assist with the oversight of publication contracts while also executing any change management processes.Supervise and support individuals during the submission process in addition to managing the peer review progress.Provides support to authors, reviewers, medical society, and editors in the use of the manuscript management system, as well as with any publishing and authorship queries (i.e., permissions, open access, reprints, etc.).Training all Editorial Board Members on policies and SOPs as outlined in the Medical Society contract.Maintain collaborative relationships with medical professionals at all levels of experience, including junior faculty and medical students, to offer authorship and peer reviewer experience.Networking at various conferences and meetings
