CurrentConsultancy Services in Philanthropy and Organizational StrategyHa-Mapah- literally “the tablecloth” - was the seminal work of Rabbi Moshe Isserlis on Jewish law that is embedded in the Shulchan Aruch (literally “Set Table”) of R. Joseph Karo. It is an in-line interpretation of Jewish law that, among many other things, helped to explain the complexities of the law to lay-people. I chose this name for my LLC because as a consultant to Jewish organizations and agencies, I see it as my role to illuminate the vast elements of philanthropy in practice so that they seamlessly advance the cause of any endeavor. Bringing strategy and joy to Jewish communal work, supporting and advancing professional and lay leadership, embedding Jewish values and ethical decision-making in our institutions, I am privileged to have the opportunity to work with our front-line toilers in the field of community-building and caring for people in need across the world. An impressive client list including Special Adviser/Interim CEO to Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia; Senior Philanthropic Adviser to JCC Association of North America, JFACT, National Ramah Commission, and others.
