I delivered a well-received consultation on a set of new regulations and a high quality public debate that included contributions from all sides of the argument. I did this through a combination of detailed research and analysis of the existing legislation and well-targeted stakeholder engagement. I quickly developed excellent relationships at a senior level to build buy-in to the consultation and gain policy insight. I was also responsible for the external communication of the policy including working with experts to engage the media. My core stakeholders were: Ministers and officials in BIS and HM Treasury, Parliament, company investors, businesses and their representative organisations, and social commentators such as the High Pay Commission.
