Investigating Organometal Trihalide Perovskite Solar Cells. Supervisor: Dr Henry Snaith.This new type of solar cell has recently been reported to achieve greater than 15% efficiency and may become a cheap and easily manufactured addition to conventional silicon solar cells.I will be investigating the photoluminescence of the perovskite absorber, and determining the effect of adding different additional exciton-quenching layers.
