Was responsible for informing the Carolina community of programs, services, spaces, and events the Union offers, by means of publications, marketing, social media, signage, signature events, and branding. CCS, a revenue-generating unit of the Union, worked with student organizations and University department clients on creative projects. As the Associate Director for CCS, I developed and managed the Union’s overall marketing, communications, public relations, branding, and project management efforts. This position supervised four full-time professionals and provided oversight to 15 student staff members in the department. I was also responsible for creating and managing the departmental budget, overseeing CCS technology and software needs, and special projects.I also teach seated and online Communications and Humanities classes for the Arts and Sciences Department for the NC Community College System. I currently serve as an adjunct instructor for COM 231: Public Speaking where I develop and utilize resources to enhance teaching methods and the learning experience.
