I worked modelling an experiment extracting CO2 from sea water with the use of acid, working independently in the lab. My responsibilities included experimental set-up design, acid dilutions, solution make-up and titrations.I attended project meetings with members of sHYp to discuss progress and presented my findings at the end of my placement.

I worked as an industrial trainee at Mott MacDonald during my gap year before attending university. I worked alongside engineers and CAD technicians to assist them in various fields including Scottish Water projects, council renovations and the design of the new Baird and Anchor hospital in Aberdeen. This internship has given me experience in CAD skills, engineering design and office admin.
