Employed as a part-time instructor in Medical Assistant program. Responsible for preparing and teaching coursework in Hematology, Urinalysis, and Medical Terminology classes, as well as preparing and administering assessment tools.

Assisted classroom teachers and LD specialist in two inclusion fifth grade classrooms. Implemented directives aimed at enabling students to learn and documented students' successes for their IEPs.

Initially was employed as a part-time medical technologist on the evening shift with primary responsibilities in Blood Bank. Other responsibilities included Serology, Urinalysis, setting up cultures and reading stat gram stains and trich preps. Rotated some weekends in chemistry and hematology. Later, became primarily day shift tech with some rotating evenings and weekends working in all areas of the lab.

Employed as a part-time instructor in the Dept. of Physician Assistant Education. Was responsible for teaching Urinalysis, Hematology, and Microbiology labs in the "Introduction to Clinical Laboratory Medicine" class. Also responsible for didactic portion of Hematology in 1990-1991.

Employed as a part-time medical technologist responsible for quality control, preventive maintenance, and monthly reports in the ancillary testing department which utilized bedside Accucheck instruments.

Employed as a medical technologist responsible for both venous and arterial blood drawing, as well as operating and troubleshooting the instruments in the various areas of the laboratory. Also responsible for supervising lab assistants, answering questions of doctors and nurses, and notifying physicians in the event of abnormal results.
