Urban Pet Sitting provides pet care while you are away. We offer pet visits, dog walks, overnight stays, taxi services, and concierge services. If you need help with your pet, we are available to meet all of your animal's needs.

During my time at PS, I differentiated lesson plans, provided individualized instruction, initiated program changes, led school assemblies, served a grade level chair, trained colleagues on several programs, encouraged and modeled an increase in parental involvement, and served as the Staff Chairman for our school Gala.

While I was a stay at home parent, I started and ran Kid Fun Houston which served families in Houston. Businesses hired me to advertise for them to the Houston community. At one point, I had over 50,000 followers on my website and my private Facebook group. I was featured on the Deborah Duncan show several times, and Amy Davis with Channel 2 often shared my blog posts. I partnered, collaborated, and advertised for local businesses providing experiences for families and children.

During this time, I mentored and evaluated 44 classroom teachers, led curriculum for Pre-k to 5th grade, led weekly grade level meetings, organized professional development for the staff, spoke at monthly staff meetings, served as the disciplinarian for 972 students, led the Discipline Committee, implemented the discipline program, served as the Testing Coordinator/Title 1 Coordinator/ GT Coordinator/ Summer School Principal for four years, started and maintained a Pre-k program, implemented a guided reading program, developed a leveled library on campus, "No Place For Hate" liaison, head of after-school tutorials, tutored at-risk students, implemented EnVision math program, started vertical teams, leader of school-wide data room, managed data wall, analyzed common assessment data with teachers, implemented school-wide initiatives, performed classroom walk-throughs, provided coaching tips and feedback to teachers, transformed teaching styles to include more student engagement, head of student advisory committee meetings, ran parent academies and curriculum talks, held parental involvement meetings, speaker at PTO meetings, member of the Shared Decision Making Committee, director of Recognition Assemblies, managed budget and materials, supervisor of substitute schedules, led interview committees, mentored new teachers, hired and managed summer school staff

I was recruited out of my classroom to work at Longfellow. During this time, my role was to coach teachers from PreK through 5th grade. I began teaching in 2001 after graduating from college. I taught first grade, and I was "teacher of the year" during my third year of teaching. During my five years there, I was grade chair, mentored teachers, had student teachers, school liaison for Junior Achievement, Project CLEAR lead teacher, computer club teacher, trained teachers and staff in Tribes Learning community program, implemented a new phonics program, leader in implementation of guided reading and small group instruction.

We serviced about 50 neighborhood pools in Houston and 20 in Austin. During my time at DS, I hired and trained lifeguards, hired and trained swim instructors, taught first aid classes, ran all summer programs (such as swim lessons, summer camps, pool parties), and managed the office staff. I also helped to design a program to book swim lessons.

At Miller Swim Academy, I began as a swim instructor. Over time, I became the manager of our swim instructors. I received my WSI training and became a Lifeguard Instructor. I hired, trained and managed swim instructors at neighborhood pools all over the city. I created a training manual, training videos and other training tools to teach instructors how to teach different leveled clients.
