Beth Wright is a dancer, choreographer, and educator of dance. She has been sharing her art form with others professionally since the age of 15. For nine seasons she was a member of the Dayton favorite Rhythm in Shoes and enjoyed performing for audiences both locally and throughout the nation. With Rhythm in Shoes, Beth worked through the Muse Machine performing for and teaching dance to elementary, secondary, and high school students throughout the Dayton area. Beth has also served as an adjunct faculty at Stiver’s High School for the Performing Arts and Colonel White High School for the Performing Arts in Dayton, and as faculty at the Civic Light Opera Academy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her choreography has been seen in the 2005 production of the Johnny Appleseed Outdoor Drama in Ashland OH., in the Rhythm in Shoes repertoire, and in many high school show choirs and musicals. Most recently Beth had the pleasure of performing with Shoefly at the Dayton Folk Festival and with Hammerstep in Soul Rhythms. She is currently an elementary artist with Muse Machine and is the project coordinator for the For Me, For You, For Later project in collaboration with PNC, Dayton Metro Library, and Muse Machine.
