Hi there! I began to pursue the study of Nutrition and Dietetics because of my desire to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Food affects all aspects of life, and yet, humans are not required to learn enough about nutrition. My goal is to educate and advise adolescents and young adults in how they can work towards an optimal lifestyle through nutrition.I enjoy the study of science, particularly physiology and biochemistry, and the application of my DPD courses through research methodology and analysis.My most recent research focus was the pervasiveness of Iron Deficiency Anemia in American women, and the need for increased iron fortification in food products as an option to combat this issue. Aside from studying nutrition, my interests include working out and baking!
