I am a second-year Juris Doctor candidate at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law. This past summer, I participated in Cumberland’s Advocacy Study Abroad Program which opened my eyes to the world of advocacy and litigation. I currently have an interest in gaining more hands-on experience in tax and estate planning work. I have a strong academic record, having earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Middle Tennessee State University. I have also gained valuable hands-on experience in the legal field through my time as a legal assistant. Most recently, I clerked for Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham. This time with VLB helped me continue to grow my legal knowledge and develop my legal research skills Throughout my time in law school, I have developed and demonstrated core competencies in research, analysis, writing, communication, and problem-solving. I am confident that I can bring value, attention to detail and enthusiasm to your team and your clients.
