Working on a project to transfer existing housing collections into 3D Revit models. This was done as a distance, part-time worker while studying my Masters.

Working with a team of students on a live build project to construct a timber frame barn using stick build techniques. Living on site for 8 weeks, learning how to manage a site and practicing all the roles involved, following a construction program, learning about health and safety, how to use tools and techniques and how a site works on a real project.

Hauxley Reserve

Voluntary work for the Dynamic Druridge project, including construction work on the new Hauxley visitors centre, designed by Bright Blue Studio. The build includes work on making and filling Gabian baskets as well as work developing structural straw bale walls.

Organisational skills, managing and leading a team, allocation of tasks.Through the project, I took part in opportunities to learn traditional craft skills, such as carpentry, stone masonry, stained glass, pointing using lime mortar. I also volunteered at schools to help younger pupils with a similar project, helping them with modelling, discussions on building re use and planning out their final ideas.
