I am a Band 6 Specialist (Rotational) Physiotherapist working within the NCIC trust.I have chosen this career path as I am dedicated to helping others to the best of my ability. My goal as a physiotherapist is to improve the quality of people’s lives thus allowing them live their life to the fullest of capacities.I have completed a Masters degree in Physiotherapy in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science. In addition to this I am a qualified gym instructor having achieved my level 2 certification whilst at the University of Surrey and have previous coaching experience both within swimming and rowing. I am a conscientious, dedicated and disciplined worker who always aims to perform to the best of my abilities. I gained some of these skills through many years of training as a high level competitive swimmer. I competed from the age of 9 (2009) through to the age of 18 (2018), and became one of the fastest open water swimmers (now called Marathon swimming) in the country. I performed to a national and international standard having competed at both open water nationals and Manchester international meet in 2016 and 2014 respectively. During my time swimming I also completed my GCSEs and A levels alongside training for up to 25 hours a week. I ultimately achieved 146 UCAS points in my A levels and achieved majority A grades in my GCSEs. My main goal in life is to work with people to enable positive outcomes and help them to achieve a better quality of life.
