I was solely responsible for managing the Innovation social media accounts as well as creating the monthly internal newsletters. I would often create informative flyers and brochures to promote the current Innovation funding and support available. These marketing materials have been used at many events and conferences as well as being posted online. I also had involvement in editing and managing the Innovation website. Another key aspect or my role was assisting my colleagues by organising and managing briefing events to which many business and academic delegates would attend. Additionally, I was responsible for writing offer letters for successful applicants of a certain grant. I was able to gain experience in Government Business by creating a diary case for one of the Welsh Assembly Members. Show less

My role as a Sociology Ambassador for Cardiff University has enhanced both leadership and interpersonal skills, particularly public speaking as many of my responsibilities involved leading a tour group. I handled the responsibility of guiding a team of potential students around the University and felt confident providing helpful answers and information. I was set the task of managing and creating several mental health and wellbeing advice pages which were made public to both staff and assembly members. Additionally I constructed and developed a mental health toolkit which included various booklets and leaflets.
