Online research based summer studentship to build knowledge and understanding of current research taking place within WWIEM.Completed a group research project with the title 'Using genomic sequencing data to predict potential host species for SARS-CoV-2'. Developed an understanding of online databases ensembl, primer3 and NEB to complete research. Presented our research to the cohort of students, demonstrating effective presentational, public speaking and confidence skills. Managed the industrial dishwasher and handwashed some larger pieces of kitchen equipment during extremely busy periods during the shift demonstrating the ability to work under pressure.Responsible for disinfecting worktops, sweeping and mopping floor, and cleaning dishwasher filter and food waste disposal machine working to strict Health and Safety guidelines and working with accuracy and speed.
